【Abstract】 This article,based on “transitivity”in Halliday′s functional grammar,aims to analyze the ideological meaning embedded in English news text.It is argued that the ideology of news text is embodied in speakers′ different choice of six“process”types,which,in turn,is a reflection of speakers′ stand,viewpoint,communicational intent as well as the social context in which the text is produced.更多还原
