【Abstract】 A deregulation revolution is undergoing in the electricity supply industry(ESI) across the whole world, while the traditional rate of return based remuneration for network capacity investments is still used in energy transmission pricing method at present. This paper points out that such return is not quite reasonable in electricity market environment and suggests that the investments of transmission lines should be remunerated according to the supply demand relationship of their capacities in the market. A Grid Embedded Marginal Cost transmission pricing method is then presented as a realization of the market based remuneration rule. Analytical derivation shows that the pricing leads to elastic revenue reconciliation, whose rationality in reflecting transmission capacity investment returns and in directing network optimization is also verified by a numerical case study.更多还原
