【Abstract】 In-Band On-Channel (IBOC) technology has the very attractive advantages-noneed for new spectrum allocations, backward and forward compatibility, and a low-investment upgrade to digital systems─that will drive adoption of digital sound broadcasting technology in the market place. Two companies are now developing competing versions of IBOC DAB technology, Lucent Digital Radio and USA Digital Radio. In this article we describe different aspects of IBOC technology, including code, decode and modulation. But the future of digital radio hangs in the balance.更多还原
