【Abstract】 With the development of the electricity market, the optimal objective of the daily generation dispatching scheduletransfers from the traditional operation cost to the pool purchase cost. The reduction of schedule interval and the increasing ofconstraints bring about more difficulties to the related algorithm. In accordance with these new characteristics. this paperpresents a practical algorithm of daily generation dispatching schedule in the transition period of electricity market anddevelops the corresponding software package aiming at Southern Hebei Electric Power Network.
