【Abstract】 Beijing is located in one of vulnerable climate zones in the world. In last decade, climate extreme events and meteorological disasters frequently happened, causing economic losses as high as 1－1.5 billion yuan every year in this city. In this paper, the main climate disasters such as droughts, floods, high temperature, sandstorms and lightning are analyzed with observed data sets for last 50 years in Beijing, respectively. The characteristics of each disaster are summarized and then their impacts on socioeconomic development studied. Finally, some adaptating and mitigating strategies are put out as references for decision making.更多还原
