汽车催化器工作过程的非稳态数值模型

【摘要】 针对现行催化器数学模型的缺点 ,考虑了工作过程的非稳态基本特征和催化过程与排气管中气体流动的相互作用 ,提出了改进模型 .该模型由一传热子模型和一流动子模型耦合组成 ,分别用有限差分法和特征线法求解 .计算结果表明 ,模型能正确地预测催化器工作过程及各参数变化规律

【Abstract】 An improved mathematical model for automobile catalytic converter is presented which takes into account the unsteady characteristics of the converter and its interaction with the unsteady flow in the exhaust pipes. The model consists of two coupled submodels. The solution of the heat transfer submodel is worked out by the finite differential method; while the solution of the flow submodel is worked out by the characteristic method. Computational results show that the model is capable of simulating the working process in the catalytic converter and predicting the variation of relevant parameters.
