【Abstract】 The method of location prediction of strong earthquakes using stable intersection regions of the linear epicenter migration track with short time and long distance, is called "the intersection method". There are three kinds of migration types: the first is from source to field; the second is from field to source and the third is to pass through the source regions. The main characteristics of those three kinds of migration are that this in tersection region will be the stable site where future earthquake will occur in or near the region. Physical foundation of "intersection method" is discussed in this paper, and some examples of earthquakes are verified.更多还原
