电热消融毛细管几何参数放电实验研究
STUDY OF DISCHARGE EXPERIMENTS OF ELECTROTHERMAL ABLATION CAPILLARY IN DIFFERENT GEOMETRICAL PROPERTIES
【摘要】 在电热化学 (ETC)发射系统中 ,作为等离子发生器的工作元件 ,毛细管的几何参数是影响系统电热转换效率 ,以及等离子体与膛内工质作用效果的主要因素之一 .本文通过在高、低两种电能水平以及不同管径下 ,对多种长度的消融毛细管作发生器放电实验 ,详细分析了在不同电能水平下 ,负载稳态阻抗、峰值电流、负载效率等主要放电特征参量随毛细管几何参数的变化规律
【Abstract】 In this study, the relationships between the main discharge property parameters, such as capillary efficiency, the maximum discharge current, and capillary resistance, and geometrical properties of plasma generator for solid propellant electrothermal chemical propulsion concepts are characterized through discharge experimental studies. The discharge experiments include: (1) high electrical energy level (the initial voltage U 0 =10 kV) and two different capillary dimensions ( d 1 =3 mm, d 2 =5 mm),(2) low electrical energy level ( U 0 =3 kV) and the same two capillary dimensions, and the capillary lengths are varied from 12 mm to 80 mm in both the series of experiments. The experimental analyses indicate that some discharge property parameter, such as capillary efficiency, is not a linear function of capillary geometrical parameters, and there is a maximum capillary effciency with the increasing of capillary length or dimensions in an electrical energy level.
