【Abstract】 According to the need of classification management, the authors. classify the function of the present forest and advance the principle and fundation of the function classification. Then put forward classified standard and target system, and analyse the application of traditional forest mature cut and main cut, which is not so applicable to present forest especially to natural forest. So the authors make new classification and name as the classification of forest management type.
