【Abstract】 In accordance with the thorough reform of forestry management mechanism of China implementingforest classified management and several important substantive problems in starting the Natural ForestProtecting Project, combined with the practice of Heilongjiang province, a series of studies in these fieldshave been carried out. The results show that the suitable percentage of forest cover is 51. 56 percent,and the structure of reasonable forest types is that the ecological public forest area hold 63. 20 Percentand the commercial forest area hold 36. 80 percent for this province.
