The kinetics and mechanism of phase transformation in rapidly solidified (RS) Al Fe V Si Nd nano alloy were investigated by DSC analysis and Mssbauer spectroscopy. Avrami equation was used to analyze the transformation process. The metastable phase Al 8Fe 4Nd transforms to α Al 13 (Fe,V) 3Si phase when heated at 633?K,648?K and 663?K.
