【Abstract】 A knowledge based expert system for design of retaining structures,ESEX, was presented. This system has the ability to select and then design the retaining structures. The heuristic processes have been coded into facts and rules in the system,and the inference mechanism is based on the fuzzy inference and the produced inference. The design of varous wall types has been coded by algorithmic and numerical methods using the FORTRAN. The expert system was built based on the TURBO PROLOG.更多还原
