【Abstract】 Based on the analysis of the “stretching numbers”, the difficulty of convergence in computing extremely small largest positive Lyapunov exponents is elucidated. The transient process with large explosion rate is responsible for this difficulty. The convergence rate can be greatly enhanced by eliminating sufficiently long transient.更多还原
