应用于图像融合中的多尺度对比度调制法
Multiscale Contrast Modulation Applied to Image Fusion
【摘要】 利用金字塔结构,将输入的多通道图像在不同频段上进行分解,得到待融合图像的对比度金字塔,然后在对比度金字塔的相应级上进行相互调制,得到融合图像的对比度金字塔,最后利用金字塔勇法恢复出融合图像.实现了基于调制原理和对比度金字塔的多尺度对比度凋制融合算法.多尺度对比度调制法能够使融合图像完好地显示源图像各自的细节,同时克服传统对比度调制融合的缺陷.
【Abstract】 To develop a new image fusion algorithm, the images of multichannels were decomposed on different frequency bands by pyramid algorithm, and the contrast pyramids of source images could be obtained by thls way. Then, the contrast pyramid of the fused image could be acquired by mutual modulation of the contrast pyramids of source images on the corresponding levels. Finally, the fused image was reconstructed by pyramid algorithm. The new algorithm called multiscale contrast modulation, which was based on modulation technique, was achieved through contrast pyramid. The fused image can preserve the details of each source image, meanwhile, the new multiscale contrast modulation can overcome some drawbacks of the traditional contrast modulation in image fusion.
