光束的非交迭效应对极化干涉仪的影响
The Effect of Non Coincided Coupling of Laser Beams on the Performance of Polarizing Interferometer
【摘要】 从高斯光束基本理论出发,分析了双光束的非交迭效应对MachZehnder极化干涉仪性能的影响,提出了改善极化干涉仪性能的途径,并在实验中得到了验证.用自制的有衬底的线栅极化器组装成的MachZehnder极化干涉仪,在波长为337μm(890GHz)的条件下,测得调制比优于19dB,插入损耗小于1dB.
【Abstract】 Based on the propagation theory of Gausian beam,the effect of non coincided coupling of laser beams on the performance of Mach Zehnder polarizing interferometer was analysed.Some ways for improving the performance of the interferometer were suggested,and were verified by our experiment.For the self made Mach Zehnder polarizing interferometer assembled with silicon wafered aluminium grids,the measured modulation index was higher than 19 dB,and the insertion loss was less than 1 dB.
