【Abstract】 Test and measurement on fabric with waterproof and moisture transmission include mainly that of water proof property and of water vapour permeability. However, the variation in testing conditions and methods will lead to much different results. A summary is made on those methods which have been set up by some countries worldwide and some methods usually used are introduced particularly. Measurement for waterproof property includes on-the-spot method, simulated evaluation and laboratory method.
