【Abstract】 Based on cross divivison,this paper introduces the principle of coding current composition of high definition television (HDTV) and proposes a new method to improve the coding algorithmic structure.By this method,the precision of assessed value of movement and movement compensation as well as the compression ratio of images are improved.
