This paper presents three engine fault diagnosis algorithms, all by using multi measuremet re-sults to reduce measurement errors and increase diagnosis reliability. These are variable-memory constrained filter algorithm(VMCF), stepped mathematical average preliminary smoothing algorithm and preliminary exponential smoothing algorithm.
