【Abstract】 The current situation of research on bituminite and mineral bituminous groundmass is discussed. On basis of observation and analysis of the samples of hydrocarbon source rocks and coals from Turpan Hami Basin and Bohaiwan Basin of North China, the classification of sedimentary organic groundmass is preliminarily proposed. The optical characteristics, genesis and hydrocarbon generated potential of different types of bituminite and mineral bituminous groundmass are described and compared with amorphous kerogen.更多还原
