【Abstract】 It is very necessary for manufacturing to change manufacturing mode because of the tendency of globalization, the characteristics of marketplace, and the rapid developments of science and technology, etc. A concept of distributed networked-manufacturing system presented in this paper is such a new idea for the next century manufacturing then its main characteristics and key techniques are introduced here.
