【Abstract】 In this paper, a new and original concept “intelligent operation” of Extra High Voltage(EHV) circuit breaker is advanced, which may be defined as “the self adapting controlling transfer of the moving contact(s) from one position to adjacent position”. For the performance intellectualization of circuit breaker, this is an important aspect and a practically feasible way.
