【Abstract】 In this paper,the effectiveness function of a FACTS damping controller is proposed for the selection of its installing location and feedback signal by taking account of not only the effectiveness,but also its robustness and non\|negative interactions with other controllers in a multi\|machine power system.An example three\|machine power system is presented in the paper to demonstrate the application of the effectivenes function proposed,where the installing location and feedback signal of a TCSC damping controller is selected which not only is effective and robust but also imposes a non\|negative interaction on a PSS installed in power system.更多还原
