【Abstract】 The HI 13 tandem accelerator at CIAE has been running for more than ten years since it was put into normal operation in august 1987. The accumulated operation time and beam time is about 40000 and 35000 h, respectively. The machine now is still in good technical condition with highest terminal voltage of 12.7 MV with beam and beam time of more than 3500 h per year in recent years. The completely home made laddertron for the machine has been in operation for near 8000 h with good performance. The original “blue resistors” made by HVEC in the high voltage divider system of the HI 13 tandem accelerator have been completely replaced by the resistors with framework which are completely home made and the performances of the resistors are satisfactory. To meet the requirements of the experiments, five additional beam lines were built up in the past ten years making the total number of the beam lines in the laboratory up to eleven and some other improvements on the machine have also been done.更多还原
