【Abstract】 The selection and development of priority department, specialty and / or subspecialty are discussed from aspects: guidance by general and specific policies on the order of priority in the whole country and in various localities; current or potential relative advantages of human, academic, equipment, or other resources in a hospital; population - based socioeco-nomic, cultural, demographic and epidemiological informations are important for assessing health care needs and for choosing which specialties as prioritized; what capacity the priority specialties possess; how and what special services they provide; by which ways they carry out intra - and inter - hospital cooperation.更多还原
