Purpose To study the 2 - D echocardiographic appearance in patients of myocardial infarction. Methods The ventricular wall motions were observed in serial LV short - axis view. Results There were abnormal ventricular movement in all cases, and thinner wall or secondary interventricular septum perforation in part of cases. Conclusion 2 - D echocardiography offers a reliable diagnostic technique to MI and its complications.
