【Abstract】 Inroads of roaches on some boats and ships on Qingdao national line were investigated and analysed and effects of prevention assessed. It has shown that in 1997,there was a 80. 79% decline in roach encroachment percentage as compared with 1994 , the declines ranged from 78. 14% to 100% in different places. So our prevention measures have been quite satisfactory since 1994. The conclusion is that we should take multiple measures to prevent shipping roaches, using chemical drugs predominantly eliminating roach breeding place and cutting off source of water and food for roach -breeding as supplementary measures. Only so can we make the roach - killing effect reliable. From now on,roach - preventing work in our city should be strengthed,with the focus on roach -destroying in places as kitchens and restaurants.更多还原
