【Abstract】 It is discussed in this article that a time-harmanic vertical electric dipole under the ground isassumed to be warning electromagnetic source before a seism , and the earth is considered to be three-lay-ered dissipative linear media, solving Maxwell’s equations for field of the dipole by means of expandingHertz-vector potential into Fourier-Bessel integral , so integral-formal solutions of the electromagneticfield generated by the dipole are derived , respectively , in a four-layered region. It is considered probablethat these results are possessed of some reference merit for research of generation and propagation of warn-ing electromagnetic waves before a seism.更多还原
