【Abstract】 Nanophthalmos is an eyeball whose volume is significantly less than that of a normal eyeball,but it is not accompanied by other significant ocular malformation.Clinically,it is rather rare,and it may be complicated by glaucoma and choroidal effusion.During and after an intraocular operation,persistent shallow anterior chamber,malignant glaucoma,expulsive intraocular hemorrhage,retinal detachment,etc.may occur,seriously threatening the visual function.In this report,the clinical characteristic features,the pathological changes and the recent advances in the management of its complications are summarized.更多还原
