【Abstract】 Some basic problems in the research of fault injection are discussed and an unifying framework for the research of fault injection is presented in this paper. We describe the concept of the fault injection and define it as an experiment process on the basis of hierarchy architecture of the fault tolerant system. The principle of fault injection is explained as four steps, of which the process consists. The application of fault injection includes not only the evaluation of fault tolerance mechanisms, but also some more wide fields.更多还原
