【Abstract】 It is well-known that Indians are the original inhabitants of the U·S, thus they are also called "Native Americans",according to one statistic study,before Columbus’arrival,there are 5,000.000 Indians within the present territory of the U·S,and the number falls dramatically 250,000 in the 1890s.The author analyses this great loss of Indian Population and holds that war,the introduction of European diseases and alcohol,and forced removal and enslavement are the major reasons.更多还原
