【摘要】 本研究运用加州心理量表（ＣＰＩ）对中美两国成人的人格特征进行比较。对ＣＰＩ做因素分析得到了四种人格因子。复方差分析结果发现人格特征上存在显著的年龄、文化主效应以及年龄与文化、性别与文化的交互作用。随年龄增长，个体较少表现出外倾性与灵活性，而较多表现出控制／规范定向，并且这一模式在中国样本中表现得更为突出。更多还原

【Abstract】 This study used samples of adults from the U, S,and China to examine age, gender,and culture differences in personality. Factor analyses of the CPI resulted in 4 personality factors. Multivariate analyses ofvariance revealed significant interactions of Age GroupX Culture and Gender X Culture, and significant maineffects of age and culture. Specifically, negative agedifferences were found for scales indicative of extraversion and flexibility, with older adults having lowerscores. In contrast, positive age differences werefound for scales indicative of control/norm orientation. In general, age diferences were more pronouncedfor Chinese adults than for U. S. adults.更多还原
