【Abstract】 The paper studies the issues of the insensitivity to color change and the end pointdelay in the determination of water hardness (MgplusCa).The results of our experiment indicate thatthe sensitivity of the hard water with high containment of HCO3 to the color change can beeffectively improved by adding hydrochloric acid heated to the boiling point.
