The body shape, physical fitness and nervous type of younger gymnastic players in shaanxi were compared and analysed with national gymnastic selecting standards. We gained the following resuts that the height and weight of girls are shorter and heavier than those of national standards respectively, but those of boys are lower slightly than national standards, physical fitness of that is up to the middle level, their nervous types may be divided into the vivacions type and quiet type.
