【Abstract】 The crystallographic data are as follows: space group P1-, a=12.698(2), b=13.616(3), c=13.712(3), α=68.91(3), β=84.34(3), γ=63.07(3)°, V=1966(1) 3, M r=849.74, D x=1.412 g·cm -3 , μ= 1.7297 mm -1 , F (000)=840, Z=2, R =0.073, w R=0.086(I≥3σ(I)). In this molecule the coodination number of Nd(Ⅲ) atom is 8 and the coordination geometry of Nd(Ⅲ) is a seriously distorted octahedron. The coordinations of Mg(1) and Mg(2) are similar, their coordination numbers are all 6 and their coordination geometries are all distorted octahedra.
