【Abstract】 An improved zero cross tree quantization coding procedure is put forward. Its a new image coding procedure based on wavelet transformation. According to this method, firstly, a four layer transformation is conducted and. Then high frequency components are produced after the first layer of wavelet transformations are omitted. Secondly, the remaining data is processed using zero tree quantization coding. Finally, the travelling coding of the above coding results is carried out. The experiments show that this procedure is superior to the direct threshold quantization coding procedure.更多还原
