【摘要】 我们在这篇文章中提出一种具有良好可扩展性的ＡＴＭ交换结构。该交换结构的基本交换单元为纵横式的带有缓冲存储器的２×２交换单元，再由这些基本交换单元以Ｂａｎｙａｎ网形式构成更大规模的ＡＴＭ交换网。这种交换结构具有分布的缓冲存储器以确保低信元丢失率，因其结构简单而具有很好的可扩展性并且易于维护，适合构造大规模的ＡＴＭ分组交换机。更多还原

【Abstract】 We propose a well-expandable ATM switch architecture in this paper.The element switch unit is a cross-bar 2×2 switch unit with buffer memories.With these element switch units,we can build very large ATM switches.The ATM switch architecture promises low cell loss rate by adopting distributed buffer memories,and is easy to be expanded and maintained because of its symplicity.The architecture is suitable for large ATM packet switches.更多还原
