【Abstract】 Necessity and feasibility to train rural basic cadres were discussed. Improving the comprehensive quality of rural basic cadres isan inexorable trend of agricultural modernization and agricultural colleges anduniversities should become the base to train rural basic cadres. Getting through the channel directly providing basic cadres to rural areas needs government’s support, which has profound historic and practical significance.
