图象小波-分形变换方向子树量化编码
Using Orientation Wavelet Fractal Subtree Quantization for Image Coding
【摘要】 首次提出了小波方向子树量化的概念,并通过对标准图象内在相关性的统计分析得出了自然图象具有方向自仿射性的结论。同时还对分别属于水平、垂直和对角方向的尺度压缩因子是相互独立的情况采用小波方向子树量化进行了编/解码分析,实验证明采用小波方向子树量化的编码可使编码质量有较大的改善
【Abstract】 In this paper, we introduce the idea about Orientation Wavelet Subtree Quantization for the first time. In this coding method, we treat the horizontal, vertical and diagonal scaling factors of quadtrees independently according to the statistic analysis of test image orientation property, and we get a result in a market improvement in accuracy with respect to quantization for image compression. The coding results of this hybrid coding scheme outperform the conventional fractal coders and the Davis’ SQS method.
