【摘要】 文章阐述信息工程方法论在总体数据规划中的应用，以厦门港MIS总体数据规划建设过程为背景，从目的、方法及过程上论述总体规划过程中的一些经验、教训。

【Abstract】 Application of informaion engineering method in overall data planning is elaborated.Based on the process of Xiamen Port MIS overall data Planning, the paper expounds some experienceand lessons drawn from overall data planning in the aspects of the objective, method and buildingProcess.
