【Abstract】 Firstly, the definitions of R, the ratio of the concentration of the ith size fraction to the total suspended load in river, are studied in this paper. And then, according to H.Rouse’s equation of vertical distribution of suspended sediment, three kinds of relative expression of Pi, namely, are given. Filially, the physical meaning and the practical ways for obtaining the effective suspension index are discussed.更多还原
