【Abstract】 That contradictary viewpionts of holism and reductionism existing in plant community, came from the historical backgroud as well as the recongnational level at present. Because there are both characteristics of holism and reductionism in plant community, it should be taken the advantages of them in order to improve study level of complicated plant community.
