【Abstract】 Shang - xuan No. 4" was selected and obtained from composite - crossing of many varieties. The newline is about 50 cm high, having 15 - 16 functional leaves. Its fleshy root is red and cylindric, about 20 cm long andabout 8 m wide. If it is cultivated in summer - autumn season, the whole growing period is about 60 days and itssingle root weight is about 0. 3kg.
