【Abstract】 Platinum is a kind of catalyst used for hydrogen electrode in fuel cells To increase its catalytic activities, Pt/C catalyst has been produced, in which platinum is highly dispersed and low-loaded The effect of doping Pd, Ni, Bi, La on Pt/C catalyst was investigated, and the polarization property was measured It is found that for hydrogen electrode in fuel cells, Pt-Pd-Ni/C is a good catalyst in which the content of platinum is 03mg/cm2 and the ratio of platinum to palladium and nickel is 126 The overpotential of the hydrogen electrode with this catalyst is very low, about 02 v at the current 100 mA/cm2, and the specific surface area of this catalyst is about 91 m2/g
