有害废气的低温等离子体催化净化应用研究

【摘要】 对催化氧化燃烧、等离子体净化技术,以及低温等离子体技术与催化氧化燃烧技术联合脱除废气中的有害物质进行了探索和研究。以甲苯为代表物,首先考察了催化氧化催化剂对其的脱除性能以及反应条件的影响;随后采用等离子体技术脱除模拟废气中的甲苯,并对影响其脱除的诸因素如气体流速、进口浓度等进行了考察;最后将低温等离子体与催化氧化燃烧联合脱除模拟废气中的甲苯进行了考察。结果表明,颗粒γ-氧化铝及氧化铝活性纤维均可用作催化燃烧催化剂的担体,CuO、Pd、Pt等用作非贵金属或贵金属活性组分;采用低温等离子体技术,在室温及较高流速下,对模拟废气中的甲苯就有较高的脱除净化能力;低温等离子体与催化氧化燃烧,低温等离子体未脱除的部分,仍可被催化剂进一步脱除或吸附。

【Abstract】 The low temperature plasma and catalytic combustion, either independently or combined in series was used to remove the harmful substances in the waste gases CuO, Pd and Pt supported on granular γ-Al 2O 3, fibrous Al 2O 3 and activated fibrous carbon were used as catalysts and surficial discharge was used to produce low temperature plasma The effects of catalysts, reaction and operating conditions were examined on the removal of toluene as typical volatile organic compound It was then found that CuO, Pd and Pt supported on granular γ-Al 2O 3, fibrous Al 2O 3 had good activity for the complete oxidation of toluene With low temperature plasma, toluene could be easily converted to COx at room temperature, and when combined with catalytic combustion the unconverted part could also be removed further
