【Abstract】 The American leaf spot of coffee or Ojo de Gallo (in Spanish) caused by Mycena citricolor (Berk.&Curt) Sacc. is a disease of great economic importance. This disease invoked serious defoliation of coffee, resulting in considerable coffee yield loss (as high as 25%～70%) in the susceptible areas of the American continent. The history, hosts, disease symptoms, pathogen morphological characters, culture characters, biology, epidemiological regularity and methods of control of this disease are reviewed in this paper based on our survey in Costa Rica made in 1997 and other literature available.更多还原
