【Abstract】 A new DialUnit pricing policy of DIALOG,which is the greatest online information retrieval system in the world, and a number of new search strategies are discussed.The DialUnit pricing policy is firstly presented,including what is a DialUnit,and how to calculate the quantity of DialUnits and its search fee.Then,a series of new search strategies is put forward against this pricing policy,including matters needing attention,connecting to the system,selecting databases,editing search statements,and search output options, with the purpose of reducing a DialUnits’ search fee and improving the cost effectiveness of a search.更多还原
