利用植物体细胞无性系变异技术育成三系杂交籼稻恢复系371
A Restorer Line Zuhui 371 for Hybrid Rice Production Developed by Using Somaclonal Variation Technique
【摘要】 以偏籼材料Iri371的幼穗为外植体,经10Gy60Co-γ射线照射处理后,进行碎段离体培养,获102株M1R1再生株。M1R1植株表现出明显的生理性损伤。M2R2代有27.5%株系出现8种可见性状的稳定变异与分离变异。从分离变异群体中选出一批优异单株,与三系杂交稻不育系测交与连续测交,M4R4选出杂种优势强、熟期提早的一个定型无性系恢复系,定名组恢371,用它配制的杂交稻籼优371,于1998年通过品种审定,成为用无性系变异技术育成的首例三系杂交籼稻恢复系。
【Abstract】 The young inflorescences collected from the indica rice in371, a cultivar from South Korea were exPOsed to 60Co-γrays at a dose of 10 Gy, then in-vitro cultUred on N6 and MS media. A total of 102 M,R, regenerants were obtained, showing conspicuous physiological damage in phenotypic traits. SOlid and segregating somachonal variations in eight kinds of visual traits were seen in M2R2 generation with a variation frequency of 27.5 %. Elite variants were isolated from the M2R2 segregating population and crossed to indica male strife lines under three line hybrid rice system. A somaclonal restorer called Zuhui 371 was selected from among the M4R4 progenies. The hybrid combination Shanyou 371 (Zhengshan 97A / Zuhui 371 ) was featured by its early maturity and stronger heterosis as compared to the control combination shanhyou 64, and was officially registered in 1998. This might be the first case to develop a restorer in hybrid rice by using somaclonal variation technique combined with γ-radiation.
