【Abstract】 Xinghua County is one of the major agricultural counties in China. This paper gives an approach to the agricultural structure readjustment and regional model of agricultural integration in the county. The needs and possibility of readjusting structures are provided by the improvement of grain production level, changing supply and demand in agricultural markets and managers’ seeking for more incomes, and the necessity for agricultural structure readjustment is to get continuous growth in agricultural output and more benefit return to peasants. The trends of readjusting structures are as follows: (1)transforming the extensive farming into intensive one; (2)developing new leading products with good quality and higher economic return; (3)adjusting the agricultural allocation; (4)extending the industrial chain for forming the agricultural integration; (5)changing the management structures for obtaining the scale economy; (6)broadening the circulation channels of agricultural commodities. The above-mentioned trends of readjusting structure have encouraged the formation and development of two typical regional models of agriculture integration with Xinghua′s characteristics. The first one is“markets+processing factories+agricultural production basis+peasant families” model which suits to vegetable farming and processing economy. Duotian village may be taken as an example of this model. In the village the processing enterprises and marketing networks dominate agricultural integration. The second one is“markets+specialized villages+cooperative organizations+peasant families” model which suits to production and trade of fresh and live farming products. This model provides a bridge leading the small peasant families to big commodity markets by a form of joint stock. The agricultural structure readjustment and the agricultural integration in Xinghua are always concentrated on increasing relative economic benefit. The agricultural structure readjustment transforms the resources advantage into products advantage and encourages the formation of leading sectors,agricultural production specialization and regionalized agricultural allocation. The agricultural integration speeds up the processing and trade of agricultural products and transforms products advantage into commodity advantage and economical advantage.更多还原
