【Abstract】 The paper discusses the application of the new optimal method--genetic programming in the application of determining the residual strength of Pelitization interlayer. Because the genetic programming is suitable to optimize the complex and non-linear problems with uncertain relationship between cause and result, therefore it offers a new technique to determine the behaviors of the residual strength of Pelitization interlayer.
