【Abstract】 A theoretic calculating method for the Poissons ratio of steel cord has been provided and hence a calculating formula for the Poissons ratio of 150.25 steel cord has been derived.It is found that the steel cord must be untwisted while it is stretched and an even force is applied to the individual filaments,otherwise the cord structure would be changed;the Poissons ratio of steel cord isnt a constant.更多还原
